Balanced Mahomet-Seymour 8th grade basketball team wins two

Grace Binkley scored a team-high nine points on Saturday (March 27) as the eighth-grade Mahomet-Seymour girls’ basketball team opened its home season with a victory, 42-10 over Urbana.

Ellie Dallas and Selah Campion added seven points apiece.

On Monday (March 29), eight squad members reached the scoring column, helping the Bulldogs to their highest point total of the season in a 45-10 conquest of St. Matthew in Champaign.

Kylie Waldinger led the way with 10 points. Dallas and Reese Gallier each tallied eight points.

M-S (3-1) returns to action on Thursday (April 1) at home against Mount Zion.
