Submission Policy

Ethos Publishing, LLC.  welcomes letters to the editor on issues of interest to our readers of the Mahomet Daily and SJO Daily.

Our Letter to the Editor guidelines include:

• Each letter should be accompanied by an email address and phone number for confirmation to ensure that no one is sending a letter under someone else’s name;
• One letter per author per month;
• Letters will be fact-checked prior to publication;
• Letters with personal attacks will not be considered;
• Every letter gets equal consideration;
• If it’s published, your letter will probably appear in the online edition a minimum of 72 hours after we receive it;
• We strive for balance, but there are times when we may only receive letters on one side of an issue. If your opinion differs from those you see printed, write and give us your perspective;
• We don’t publish form letters, anonymous letters.

Letters to the Editor will not be printed.
