Tolono Fun Day moved to fall 2020
The Tolono Fun Day Committee has announced that the 2020 event will be pushed back until the fall, possibly the first weekend in October.
The fall festival may look a little different, but the committee stated in a Facebook post that they hope to have a Movie Friday on Oct. 2 and many of the activities they had originally planned for June on Oct. 3.
“We have already contacted our vendors about the change and are actively making plans to still have fireworks, helicopter rides with Summer Skyz, music in the park, food vendors, flea market vendors, and other entertainment options that everyone has come to enjoy,” the committee wrote.
The committee will now move forward planning the event for the fall with the assumption that large gatherings will be allowed in October, but also knowing that there may be changes even then.
They do hope, though, that the change will help to forge some new relationships and activities for the annual event. They are currently looking for vendors and sponsorships to keep the event running smoothly.
