Mahomet-Seymour High School was awarded the Silver Medal from the U.S. News and World Report Magazine Tuesday for their accomplishments on standardized tests and the percentage of students that are determined to be college ready.
The report ranks MSHS 1,688 nationally and 66th within the state of Illinois.
