Six Mahomet-Seymour Color Guard performers place at IDTA competition

The Mahomet-Seymour High School Color Guard kicked off the 2021 winter season with IDTA today at their virtual Start the Beat event.

Due to COVID, all competitions will be held online this year.

The Bulldogs entered six competitors into the IDTA competition. All six dancers finished first or second in their grade level. Senior Emma Beddow will be entered into the 2021 IDTA State Competition, while Junior Sophie Deck and Sophomore Missy Corray have earned spots in the State exhibition.

Sophomore Missy Corray: 1st Place

Sophomore Rachael Corson: 2nd place

Juniors Sophie Deck: 1st Place

Junior Mallory Fonte: 2nd place

Junior Abigail Loewenstein: 3rd Place

Senior Emma Beddow: 1st Place
