Mahomet Family Dentistry Athlete of the Week: Kylie Waldinger

Mahomet-Seymour’s Kylie Waldinger’s helped the Bulldogs hold on to a the thrilling overtime victory against Tolono Unity earlier this week. Scoring a game-high 18 points, she was instrumental in turning the tide for the Bulldogs. Her performance in overtime was particularly noteworthy, as she confidently knocked down 5 of 6 free throws, contributing significantly to the team’s 47-43 win.

But this isn’t a one-off. Waldinger has been a consistent force throughout the season. She posted 17 points against Charleston, contributing to a high-scoring game that ended the team’s four-game losing streak. In a challenging match against Bloomington Central Catholic, she upped the ante with a career-high 26 points, showcasing her ability to perform under pressure.
