Four M-S wrestlers win at Clinton in school’s first dual meet

The Mahomet-Seymour girls’ wrestling team swept all five matches on Tuesday (Dec. 12) at Clinton, earning a 30-0 victory in the historic first girls’ dual meet in school history.

Four Bulldogs won by pin: Kalista Granadino (at 115 pounds in 28 seconds), Isabelle Leyhe (at 125 pounds in 2:21), Jaycee Fancher (at 130 pounds in 2:21) and Grace Ribbe (at 190 pounds in 4:15).

The other M-S points came from Gabriela Dawson’s forfeit win at 135 pounds.

The M-S girls (1-0) return to action on Saturday (Dec. 16) at the Springfield Invitational.
