Crowley Pumpkin Glow set for Oct. 29, 30 and 31

The glow of a pumpkin on a doorstep is enough to make anyone smile.

But hundreds of glowing pumpkins placed near the forest in rural Mahomet is something that draws crowds from miles away each year.

After the pumpkin buying season dies down, the Crowley family invites friends and family to their property at 435 County Road 2500 N to carve pumpkins.

The family places the pumpkins on the ground and in the trees surrounding their property, then spectators have a chance to see them on Oct. 29, 30 and 31 from dusk until about 10 p.m.
