Bulldogs come out ahead of Tri-Valley and Mount Zion at Lake of Woods course

The Mahomet-Seymour girls’ golf team completed an unbeaten season in dual and triangular meets on Tuesday (Sept. 28) at Lake of the Woods, swinging their way past Tri-Valley and Mount Zion.
The M-S team composite was 187. Runner-up Tri-Valley compiled a 213 team score. Mount Zion finished with a 218 tally.
Bulldog Ainsley Winters was the meet’s medalist. She scored a round in the 30s for the second time this season, firing a 39.
Teammates Emma Dallas and Kayla McKinney each carded 48s and tied for third place individually.
Other M-S scores were: Maddy Clark (52), Gaby Davis (56) and Maddy Payne (66).
M-S ended 11-0 in dual or triangular meets.
The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday (Sept. 30) in a 17-school Class 1A regional at Lincolnshire Fields Country Club, in Champaign.
