Bulldogs defeats Lincoln for second time this season

Junior Grace Rodebaugh socked 10 kills on Tuesday (Sept. 28) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team toppled Lincoln, 25-23, 25-23, in an Apollo Conference match on the Railsplitters’ court.

In an early-season meeting with Lincoln, the Bulldogs also prevailed by two points in each of the two sets the teams played.

Senior Haylie Orton contributed four kills and four blocks in the rematch.

M-S (15-5) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 30) at home against Mattoon. The Bulldogs are 5-1 in Apollo Conference matchups.

Lincoln defeated the M-S junior varsity, 25-20, 25-18. The M-S freshmen won their match, 21-12, 19-21, 15-10.
