The Village of Mahomet will begin leaf collection procedures on October 15. The program will continue through November 30.
Brush can be dropped off at 218 Lake of the Woods Rd. from 8 a.m. until noon. This drop off is for residents of the Village only and ID is required to participate.
The Village requires residents to place their collection items no further than 3 feet from the street. Any items placed further away than three-feet will not be collected.
The Village will also not accept leaves that have brush mixed in with them.
The collection schedule will run as follows: Area 1 – Monday. Area 2 – Tuesday. Area 3 – Wednesday. Area 4 – Thursday and Area 5 – Friday.
