Unbeaten Bulldogs top Centennial

Seven players scored goals, six players had assists and two players had saves on Thursday as the unbeaten and unscored upon Mahomet-Seymour girls’ soccer team won at Centennial, 7-0.

Brea Benson scored the first M-S goal, assisted by Madison Wade, who later had another assist and also scored a goal.

Other teammates with goals were Grace Lietz, Mackenzie Moore, Nyah Biegler, Cayla Koerner and Brooke Benson.

Haley Lester had two assists for M-S (6-0). Biegler, Lietz and Brea Benson also had assists.

Goalkeepers Noelle Bailey and Grace Larson each played a half and stopped one shot on goal.

M-S has outscored its first six opponents by a 30-0 margin.

The Bulldogs return to action today at Urbana.
