St. Joseph-Ogden defeats Mahomet-Seymour softball

Rio Casillas, Kenadi Granadino and Madelyn Logsdon each swatted two hits on Thursday (April 27), but the Mahomet-Seymour softball team was unable to hold onto a 6-2 lead after five innings and lost a 13-6 decision at home to St. Joseph-Ogden.

Ava Henderson pitched 5 1/3 innings, but did not allow an earned run.

Granadino scored two runs. Casillas delivered three RBI and Logsdon drove in two runs.

M-S (7-12) returns to action on Monday (May 1) at Decatur MacArthur.
