MSHS Production of “Dearly Beloved” to show November 3-5

Planning a wedding can be full of drama, but when the Futrelle Sisters, Frankie, Honey Raye and Twink, hold the reigns to plan Tina Jo’s antebellum-inspired wedding, planning turns into Southern farce that unveils family secrets that make even the bride and groom disappear.

Twelve Mahomet-Seymour actors will portray the story of the hilariously over-the-top “Dearly Beloved” in the MSHS Fall Production November 3-5.

Under the instruction of 2005 graduate of Mahomet-Seymour Sarah Louise, the group has been practicing since August to prepare for the production. Louise is also in her fifth year as a special education teacher at Mahomet-Seymour.

“The crew has also been working tirelessly to make this production the best it can be,” Louise said.

Student director, Allie Love said, “Everyone in the cast and crew are like family. They work so well together and love theater.”
