Musicians Mike Ingram and the Caleb Cook Band will kick off the Mahomet Parks and Recreation’s Summer Concert Series on from 4 to 8 p.m. on June 8 at Barber Park.
The kick-off event will also feature several food trucks and the Mahomet Farmer’s Market will be moved from the Mahomet Community Center to Barber Park that evening.
Visitors are reminded to bring lawn chairs. The event is kid-friendly with yard games, inflatables, balloon animals and face painting.
With limited parking, a free golf cart shuttle service will run from the grass lot located near the Mahomet IGA. Service will begin at 3:30 p.m. and run every 15 minutes until 8:30 p.m.
