The Mahomet Area Youth Club has announced that they raised over $95,000 at their Annual Boot Scootin’ Auction on June 13.
MAYC, which has a three-year $128,000 commitment to the Mahomet-Seymour School District, funds the popular after school B.L.A.S.T. program. Coming out of record lows at the club, MAYC served hundreds of students from first grade to high school during the 2013-2014 school year.
Last year MAYC raised approximately $60,000 at the auction.
