Mattoon defeats Mahomet-Seymour soccer in Apollo Conference match

Kallie Stutsman scored the lone goal for Mahomet-Seymour’s girls’ soccer team, which dropped a 3-1 Apollo Conference decision on Tuesday (May 2) at Mattoon.

The Bulldogs are 10-3-2 overall and 7-2 in league play after its five-match winning streak was snapped.

M-S, which will play its final Apollo Conference match of the season at Taylorville on Thursday (May 4), has already clinched a second-place finish in the conference.

Mattoon is the undisputed conference champion. The Green Wave are 9-0 in league matches with one remaining.
