Mahomet-Seymour volleyball 8-0 in Apollo Conference

The Bulldogs kept their grip on first place in the Apollo Conference volleyball standings by handling Mattoon, 25-17, 25-15, on Tuesday (April 6) in Mattoon.

Ainsley Ranstead provided a spark with six kills, five aces and four digs.

Grace Rodebaugh contributed three kills and three digs.

M-S (8-2) has a six-match winning streak and five of those victories have been in straight-set sweeps. The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday (April 8) at home against Mount Zion.

In Apollo Conference matches, M-S has a 8-0 record.

In junior varsity action, M-S topped Mattoon, 15-25, 25-17, 15-12.
