Mahomet-Seymour to hold COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on May 14, June 4

The Mahomet-Seymour School District will host a COVID-19 clinic for students on May 14.

The clinic, which will be held at the Mahomet-Seymour High School Fieldhouse from 1:30 to 4:30, is open to students over the age of 12 years old and their family members.

Originally, the clinic would serve children over the age of 16, but with pending FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine for those 12 year old or older, the district has opened registration to that age group.

Should the FDA not approve the Pfizer vaccine for those between the ages of 12 and 15, the district will limit its distribution to those older than 16.

Anyone being vaccinated must fill out a consent form prior to receiving the vaccine.  Anyone 18 years or younger must have a parent/guardian signature on the consent form and bring the consent to the vaccination site.

To register for the vaccine, visit https://www.ms.k12.il.us/covid-dashboard

The Pfizer vaccine is delivered in two doses. The district’s second clinic will be held on June 4 from 8 to 11 a.m.
