Mackenzie Bonham and Sierra Tuttle were the lone base runners for the Mahomet-Seymour Junior High softball team in a 16-0 loss at LeRoy on Saturday (Aug. 25) in the first game of a doubleheader.
They each drew a walk and stole a base.
In the second game, LeRoy posted a 17-2 win.
Pfeifer Manuel and Madisyn Morgan scored the M-S runs. Hadley Carolan and Bonham each had one RBI.
The lone Bulldog hit was a double by Joella Snodsmith. She stole a base, as did Manuel.
M-S (1-9) returns to action on Wednesday (Aug. 30) at home against Normal Kingsley.
