The pitching victory went to Finn Randolph, who permitted one earned run in three innings. He gave up two hits, walked no one and struck out four. Cade Starrick worked the final two innings. He walked one batter and fanned two.

On Saturday (April 15), M-S split an Apollo Conference doubleheader at Charleston, winning the opener 8-3 and dropping the nightcap, 6-5.
