Champaign County Clerk Gordy Hulten will be at the Mahomet Public Library on November 8 to talk to potential Mahomet-Seymour School Board candidates about the process for candidacy.
The event will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Hulten will review the requirement of public signatures, the timeline for turning candidacy petitions in, campaign rules and regulations and the Board of Education election process. Hulten will also answer questions from the audience.
This event is open to all Mahomet-Seymour residents.
