Two golfers recorded hole-in-ones on consecutive days on the 17th hole at Lake of the Woods. Both occurred during the facility’s weekend Better Ball Tournament.
On Saturday (Oct. 8), George Epley aced the hole, which played at 169 yards. His feat was witnessed by Miles Epley, John Wagner and Matt Johnson.
On Sunday (Oct. 9), Bill Clouse aced the 17th hole, when it played at 185 yards. He used a 5-iron. His feat was witnessed by Jason Heid, Dan Carlier and Colin Carlier.
