Drinkwalter posts top score at Danville Invitational

Junior Jameson Drinkwalter fired a 90 on Friday and posted the top Mahomet-Seymour score in the Danville boys’ golf invitational at Turtle Run.

Brandon Collins carded a 92 and Sam Mitchaner shot a 93 for the Bulldogs.

As a team, M-S placed 13th in the 18-school field. M-S’ composite was 372. Meet champion Normal Community shot a 305.

Other Bulldog scores were: Jackson White (97), Grant Harvey (100) and Carter Selk (105).

M-S returns to action on Tuesday at Monticello.
