District posts FOIA request responses on site

The Mahomet-Seymour School District now displays all Freedom of Information Act requests on the district website.

The district uploaded all requests and responses from July 1, 2017 to date.

At Monday’s school board meeting Hall said the postings will now be the official response to FOIA requests.

“Hopefully people find that helpful,” she said.

Another communications change is that the district began sending out the board agenda to all parents through Skyward Friday. The board packet is also available online the Friday before a scheduled meeting.

The district will also start a District Facebook page that will be linked to their Twitter page and website.

Hall said Facebook is a great way to get information out, but it is not the place to ask questions, problem solve or to have a conversation.
