Sophomore Avery Allen posted a double-double on Tuesday (Oct. 5) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team scored a three-set win at Mount Zion, 25-13, 21-25, 25-23.
Allen registered 12 kills and 12 digs.
Teammate Grace Rodebaugh contributed eight kills and six blocks.
M-S (17-5 overall) is 7-1 in Apollo Conference matches and returns to action on Thursday (Oct. 7) at home against Taylorville, which handed the Bulldogs their lone league loss in two sets.
In junior varsity action on Tuesday, M-S beat Mount Zion 20-25, 25-21, 15-11. The Bulldog freshmen were also victorious, 21-12, 21-12.
