Juniors Erik Christianson and Zach Courson finished second and third, respectively, overall on Friday to help Mahomet-Seymour to a dual-meet win over Champaign Central at Lake of the Woods.
Christianson carded a team-best 42 for the Bulldogs. Courson fired a 43.
M-S edged the Maroons 177-179.
Other Bulldog scorers were Carter Selk (46), Jackson White (46), Jameson Drinkwater (49) and Jacob Louis (52).
In junior varsity action, Brian Coyne fired a team-best 44.
Five Bulldogs were a single stroke behind their team-leader: Blake Harvey, Brogan Hennesy, Braden Houchin, Ryan Long and C.J. Shoaf.
On Thursday at the Lincoln Scramble, the M-S varsity ended with a score of 67.
M-S returns to action Tuesday (Aug. 25) at Lake of the Woods against Blue Ridge.
