Bulldog Chess ends season in IHSA virtual state chess tournament

The Mahomet-Seymour High School Chess Team competed in the first-ever IHSA virtual state chess tournament Saturday.

The Bulldogs finished in 48th (record 4-3) place out of the 118 teams that participated, gaining wins over against Hartsburg-Emden, Belville West, Niles Northridge Prep and Plainfield North.  Mahomet-Seymour loses came against Palatine Fremd, Highland Park and Dunlap.
