Amatyleon reaches .500 mark

Sophomore Savannah Amatyleon moved her singles record above .500 on Thursday (Sept. 16) with a straight-set win against Mattoon in a match played at the University of Illinois.

Amatyleon overpowered Avery Gill, 6-2, 6-1, to improve her season mark to 3-2.

Mattoon won the meet, 8-1.

M-S (4-2) returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 21) against Watseka at the UI.
