Mahomet-Seymour Science Olympiad headed to State

The Mahomet-Seymour Science Olympiad team placed third overall at the Parkland College Regional tournament for the Illinois Science Olympiad Saturday.

The third-place finish secured a spot at State on April 18, 2020.

University Laboratory High School and Centennial High School placed first and second, respectively.

The Mahomet-Seymour squad finished strong in the “Anatomy & Physiology”, “Forensics”, “Dynamic Planet” and “Write It Do It” categories.
