2023 consolidated election petitions available for majority of Village of Mahomet board of trustee seats

Petitions for candidates interested in filling one of four Village of Mahomet Board of Trustee seats in the 2023 consolidated election are available.

Four four-year trustee seats, currently held by Bruce Colravy, Bill Oliger, Becky Preston, and Jason Tompkins, are up for election. The Village of Mahomet Board is comprised of seven members.

Petitions and the 2023 Candidate’s Guide are available at the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office.

The minimum number of signatures required to be placed on the ballot for the Village of Mahomet board of trustees is 95 and the maximum is 151. 

Petitions must be filed with the Village of Mahomet 8:00 a.m. on Dec. 14 through 5:00 p.m. December 21th. The Village Administration office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but will stay open until 5 p.m. on Dec. 21.

Village board is a non-partisan position.
