Twelve players scored baskets for the Mahomet-Seymour seventh-grade girls’ basketball team on Tuesday, helping the Bulldogs win their fifth game in a row.

Talia Francom and Reese Didier were the top M-S scorers with six points apiece in a 39-7 win at Urbana.

The Bulldogs have allowed 11 points in their last two games.

Didier is the seventh squad member to lead or share the team-lead in scoring thus far this season.

The seventh-graders have a 10-2 season record.

The eighth-graders had their winning streak snapped at four games, suffering a 41-32 loss at Urbana.

Claire Seal became the team’s first 20-point scorer this season, hitting that mark while raising her total to 47 points during the past three games.

The eighth-graders are 8-4 entering a game tonight at Champaign Edison.
