Normal University defeats Mahomet-Seymour boys’ basketball

Dayten Eisenmann nailed four three-point shots and scored a game-high 14 points for the Mahomet-Seymour boys’ basketball team on Saturday (Dec.18) in a 52-38 loss at Normal University High.

M-S trailed, 15-11, after one quarter and was still down by four points, 31-27, entering the final period.

Blake Wolters tallied seven points and handed out a team-high five assists. Nolan Nierenhausen added six points.

Leading the Bulldogs on the boards were Eisenmann and Carter Selk, with three rebounds apiece.

M-S (5-5) returns to action on Monday (Dec. 27) in the State Farm Classic. The Bulldogs are seeded 12th and open against fifth-seeded Chicago Brother Rice at 3 p.m. at Illinois Wesleyan University.
