Chase Wagers accounted for two of Mahomet-Seymour’s four hits on Monday (May 16) in a 5-2 non-conference baseball loss at home to Normal Community.
Evan Ruzich and Blake Wolters each delivered one hit. Ruzich and Mateo Casillas both had one RBI. Wagers and Zach Courson scored the Bulldog runs.
Courson (6-2) pitched five innings and absorbed the loss. He walked one and struck out three.
M-S (22-5) returns to action on Thursday (May 19) at Bloomington.
