Mahomet-Seymour concluded its first regular-season in boys’ tennis by topping Danville, 6-3, on Monday (May 16).
The Bulldogs won four matches in singles and two in doubles.
Posting single wins in straight sets were Jacob Atteberry (No.3), Quade Bristle (No. 4), Braden Stacey (No. 5) and Gaspar Covarrubias Zuniga (No. 6).
In doubles, the duo of Stacey and Covarrubias Zuniga, was victorious, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 2.
At the No. 3 position, M-S’ Jack Rose and Cainan Birge won in straight sets.
M-S returns to action on Friday (May 20) in the Danville Sectional.
