For the fourth consecutive year and for the fifth time in the six years that Mahomet-Seymour has been a member of the Apollo Conference, the school has earned the league’s 2022-23 All-Sports Championship.
A point total is determined for each school’s finish in conference play.
M-S finished with 95 ½ points and edged runner-up Mount Zion, which totaled 92 points.
The remainder of the Apollo Conference All-Sports order of finish: 3) Effingham 67 ½ points; 4) Mattoon 67 points; 5) Lincoln 61 ½ points; 6) Charleston 49 points and 7) Taylorville 38 ½ points.
