Mahomet-Seymour Dance qualifies for IDTA State competition

The Mahomet-Seymour dance team qualified for the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA) state competition at Clinton on Saturday.

The Bulldogs placed second in the IDTA section of the competition. They also placed fourth out of 14 teams in the IHSA section of the competition.

The team will take to the dance floor again on Jan. 22 at Mascoutag for another chance to qualify for the IHSA State competition.
