Avery Allen’s double-double (15 kills and 21 digs) sparked Mahomet-Seymour to a come-from-behind volleyball win over visiting Lincoln, 20-25, 25-18, 25-23, on Tuesday (Sept. 27).
Allen also had one service ace.
Ellie Barker dropped 10 kills, Maddie Gaede recorded 17 assists and Libby Bodine finished with 24 digs.
M-S (16-3) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 29) at Mattoon. In Apollo Conference matches, the Bulldogs are 7-0.
The M-S underclassmen teams helped the school to a sweep of the night’s matches. The junior varsity beat Mattoon 25-19, 25-22 and the freshmen were victorious, 21-14, 21-16.
