Mahomet Family Dentistry Athlete of the Week: Carter Johnson

Clean-up batter Carter Johnson went 4-for-6 as Mahomet-Seymour baseball defeated Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, 15-2 on April 15. He scored four runs and drove in three, giving him 10 RBI in the past five games, covering an eight-day span.

Johnson went on earn an 8-1 win over Paxton-Buckley-Loda in his first time on the mound for the 2023 season. He allowed four hits, one unearned run and walked two. He struck out three batters. Johnson also had two RBIs.
