The Bulldogs concluded the regular-season on Tuesday with a 25-17, 25-16 Apollo Conference triumph at Charleston. The victory clinched the conference championship for the Bulldogs.
The last outright conference title in volleyball for the Bulldogs was in 2005, when the school was a member of the Corn Belt Conference.
M-S is 28-7 overall and 10-2 in Apollo matches.
Kayin Garner handed out 22 assists. Lauren Minick pounded nine kills and Ainsley Ranstead helped form a potent front-row attack with eight kills.
In the junior varsity match, Charleston topped M-S 25-23, 25-19.
The Bulldogs are idle until opening play in the Class 3A Decatur Eisenhower Regional on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. against an undetermined opponent.
M-S is the top-seeded team in the regional.
