Mahomet, Ill. – Connor Engel was Thursday’s winner in the Central Illinois Junior Golf Tour event at Lake of the Woods for 15-18-year-old players.
He fired a 41 and earned a one stroke victory over Jameson Drinkwalter.
Rounding out the top five were: Masato Keeley, 45; Brandon Collins, 46; and Jackson White, 46.
In the age bracket for players 10-to-14 years old, the two-player winning team consisted of Caleb McCullough and Parker McClain. They teamed up for a 34.
They scored a four-shot victory over Joey Trupiano and Ryan Schmidt.
In third place, with a score of 41, was Griffin Doyle and Luke Livingston.
Fourth place, with a combined score of 42, was secured by Luke Dyer and Reis Claybrooke.
Completing the top five were Jacob Kern and Taylor Hug, with a 43.
