Bulldogs snap two-game losing streak

Savannah Orgeron made a game-high 22 points on Saturday (Jan. 21) as Mahomet-Seymour’s girls’ basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 43-35 win at Chatham Glenwood.

M-S hit 12 of 16 free throws in the victory, including 7 of 11 in the final stanza.

Kylie Waldinger posted nine points. Abby Bunting and Durbin Thomas each tallied six points.

Bunting pulled down a season-high nine rebounds and also secured two steals.

M-S (18-6) returns to action on Monday (Jan. 23) at home against Mount Zion.
