Bulldog Volleyball picks up fourth consecutive win

The Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (7-3) won their fourth consecutive volleyball match on Tuesday, rallying to win at Mattoon 21-25, 25-22, 25-14.

The win improves the M-S record to 2-0 in Apollo Conference matches and marks the third comeback triumph this season after dropping the first set.

Ainsley Ranstead and Amber Yeakel supplied the offensive firepower for the Bulldogs.

Ranstead landed five aces, seven kills and eight digs. Yeakel delivered six kills and three blocks.

Setter Kayin Garner distributed 28 assists.

M-S returns to action tonight at home against Mount Zion.
