The Mahomet-Seymour Volleyball team lost in 2 matches 25-27, 18-25 to Mt. Zion Tuesday night.
Savannah Matthews had 11 kills and 11 digs. Ainsley Ranstead added 9 kills. Kayin Gerner had 25 assists.
Soccer
Mattoon came out and jumped ahead 2-0 in the first half at Mahomet Tuesday.
The Bulldogs were able to put one in the goal from Joah Moore in the second half, but it was not enough. Mattoon chipped one more goal in to get a 3-1 victory to give them a solid position atop the Apollo conference standings.
