Monticello sets course record in with over Mahomet-Seymour

Sophomore Ainsley Winters was the team medalist for the Bulldogs in a Tuesday meet against Monticello at Lake of the Woods. Her nine-hole tally was 47.

Monticello won the dual meet 177-209 behind the women’s course record for a tournament round of 33 by Ashley Long.

Other Bulldog scores were: Kayla McKinney (53), Emma Dallas (54), Maddy Clark (55), Emma Yates (59) and Gaby Davis (61). McKinney and Dallas both posted season-low scores.

M-S returns to action on Friday (Sept. 4) against Champaign Central and Tuscola at the UI course, in Savoy.
