Electronics Recycling Collection Event will take place May 19, with online registration opening April 9 at 8 a.m.

When the registration opens on April 9th, you will be able to select one of the available 15-minute time slots between 8am-12pm. Please make sure you register completely; you will receive a confirmation email and/or text after you register. You will then receive a postcard in the mail two weeks before the event (the postcard will serve as your ticket into the event). If you do not receive your postcard by May 16th, please call 217.403.4780.
At the collection events, there is a 2 TV limit per person/postcard (ALL types, models, & sizes of TV’s are accepted!) & 10-item total limit per postcard. Click here to view the list:  Accepted and Non-Accepted Items List
Residents can only register once, but multiple residents from a single residence can register.  These events take place at Parkland College, 2400 W. Bradley Ave, Champaign; we ask that residents use the DUNCAN ROAD ENTRANCE & then follow the signs.  Car pooling is allowed & encouraged (you can use multiple postcards for one vehicle).  ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED removing items from your vehicle; please do not have anything surrounding your electronics that you do not want taken. The events go ahead rain or shine, that includes thunder & lightning. Keep in mind that rain will slow things down, but the wait is still minimal. The weather would have to get very severe before we cancel.
