Volunteers Needed for Freedom Fest

Each year thousands gather around the water at the Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve for the Champaign County Forest Preserve‘s annual Freedom Fest on July 4.

While CCFPD takes the lead in hosting and scheduling the event, dozens of volunteers are needed to work in shifts from 1 to 10 p.m. to ensure that community members can enjoy the celebration.
