Shore, Yergler and Campbell combine for five home runs in win over Urbana

The trio of Aubrie Shore, Karley Yergler and Ashley Campbell combined to go 11-for-11 with seven extra-base hits on Wednesday (April 21) at Urbana.

The Bulldogs swatted five home runs in a 15-0 softball triumph. Shore and Yergler each blasted two homers. Campbell hit one home run.

Sydney McKinney was 2-for-3, with a double, and Maddie Cortez was also 2-for-3, with a triple.

Yergler pitched her second consecutive shutout, yielding two singles over four innings. She walked no one and struck out seven.

Abigail Akers pitched the final inning and struck out one batter.

M-S (3-0) returns to action on Thursday (April 22) at home against Tri-Valley.
