MSSC ’08 boys pick-up win at Pumpkin Classic

The Mahomet-Seymour Soccer Club ’08 boys competed in the Morton Pumpkin Classic.

In their first game, they outscored SASA Red 6-0. Xander Shanks has 2 of those goals, with Jackson Davis, Corey Bell, Brock Evans and Corbin Phillips all contributing 1.

In the second game the rain poured on and the team had a solid game against Urbana United. It was back and forth the entire match but Urbana was able to win 3-2.

On Sunday their final game against Bettendorf they were unable to connect to the net and lost 0-2.
