Mahomet-Seymour Girls’ Basketball posts third consecutive win

Eight players scored points on Tuesday, but no one reached double figures as the Bulldogs recorded their third consecutive win, a 41-28 triumph at St. Thomas More.

Savannah Orgeron led the balanced Bulldog attack with eight points. Makayla Rosenbery scored seven points, Durbin Thomas ended with seven points and Nichole Taylor added six points.

Ashley Campbell and Cayla Koerner each chipped in with five points.

Taylor cleared a team-high 10 rebounds and added two assists. Koerner led with seven steals and contributed five rebounds and two assists. Thomas also had two assists.

M-S (15-9) returns to action tonight at home against Normal West. Each of the team’s final five regular-season games will be played in Mahomet.
